Maximising your screen / F11

The enlargements of artworks on this website are sized depending on the screen space that is available. Therefore, when you maximise your screen, all the enlargements will be considerably bigger.

You can maximise your screen by pressing your F11 key (in the top row of buttons on your keyboard). You will see that the address box and any buttons or toolbars at the top of your screen (as well as the so-called 'status bar' at the bottom) will disappear instantly, leaving much more space for much bigger enlargements.

Press F11 again to restore the screen to normal view.

The Hungarian Dancers

These paintings are a developement from an earlier series where I was using still frames from a film I had made of two professional dancers performing naked in my studio (The Dancers and The Dancers II). This collection uses some different parts of their dance and I have used strong primary colours as their background because dancers dance to music - and for me line and colour are the visual interpretations of music.
